LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., September 28, 2020 — Transervice Logistics Inc., a leading provider of customized fleet maintenance and leasing solutions, decided to celebrate both their drivers and technicians during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, September 13-19. The event took on a special significance this year given the crucial role these professionals played going above-and-beyond to keep trucks on the road and essential products delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With some break rooms closed during the pandemic, over 1200 branded masks and insulated two-tier lunch containers with hot and cold storage were handed out to Transervice drivers and technicians throughout North America and Puerto Rico. In addition, they were treated to either breakfast, lunch or dinner paid for by the company, with some locations hosting on-site BBQ cookouts.

“This year our drivers were literally running the wheels off their trucks to keep pace with essential service deliveries, all with the support of their technicians back in the shop,” said Sean Schnipper, Marketing and Social Media Manager. “Traditionally Transervice management teams always made it a priority to visit our locations to personally thank our drivers and technicians during Appreciation Week. Unfortunately, that had to be done remotely this year, given the pandemic.”
