Cream-O-Land Dairy was started in 1943, nearly 80 years ago, by Samuel Schneier. Samuel made many deliveries to small mom-and-pop grocery stores and homes in the New Brunswick, NJ area where the Cream-O-Land brand name was founded. Samuel grew the business in the years to come and was aided by his children, Arthur and Frances. The two of them did anything and everything to keep the business running in an efficient and profitable manner. Their skills ranged from bookkeeping to sales. As time went on, the two of them, along with Arthur’s wife, took over the day-to-day operations.
Cream-O-Land (COL) is now being managed and operated under the leadership of Jay and Robert Schneier, the grandsons of Samuel Schneier. Together, Jay and Robert have put into place a successful business model. Cream-O-Land has grown from its original New Brunswick, NJ location to two state-of-the-art modern warehouses. These warehouses are located in Jersey City and Florence, NJ. The most up-to-date delivery area now includes delivering Cream-O-Land products to Walgreens, hospitals, airports, schools and colleges in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Connecticut.
In conjunction with their business model, Cream-O-Land has invested in more than 200 28-foot modern, refrigerated straight trucks to deliver the products to its customers. These products range from a variety of milk, creamers, eggs, butter, cheese, yogurt, tea, water, ice cream and plant-based products. The state-of-the-art warehouses where these products are produced get these farm fresh products to their destination on time at competitive prices. With Cream-O-Land’s loyal employees, who perform their duties at a very high level, the company is able to uphold the standards of service and commitment to its customers.
TRANSERVICE has been with Cream-O-Land for the past 6 years. The partnership of Cream-O-Land and TRANSERVICE provides many facilities with a variety of top-grade quality dairy products. Due to the long relationship these two companies have shared over the years, they will continue to successfully serve the communities they are in.
