Blog Post: Transervice Attends & Exhibits at the Connecticut Motor Truck Association Meeting

On October 25th, Jim Lavery, Transervice’s Director of Business Development for New England, attended and ran an exhibit booth for potential clients at the MTAC Conference. Featured in the photo with Jim Lavery is Tad Derouin, Director of Safety Field Operations for William B Meyer, Transervice’s newest partner in CT for on-site fleet maintenance. There were several seminars with a luncheon keynote speaker, Curtis Thomas from the FMCA. Also sharing a few words was Bob Stefanowski, one of Connecticut’s Gubernatorial Candidates that is pro-commercial truckers. Joe Scully, President of MTAC and his associates did a fine job as usual.  Recognized at the event were the 2018 truck driving champions and their participating companies. Bob Hamilton of Bozzutos was also recognized for his years of service with MTAC Board and was inducted as an Honorary Director.

Attending were a variety of companies ranging from trucking firms to rigging & moving companies to fuel carriers to environmental firms to companies which support transportation such as driver leasing companies, fleet leasing & maintenance firms such as Transervice, insurance providers, CT Department of Transportation, compliance companies, driver training firms and new truck dealers to name a few of the spheres of influence in attendance.  The meeting was well attended.
