Bob Clark’s, a veteran truck driver who has been with Transervice for over two years, was recently awarded the Truck Renting and Leasing Association’s (TRALA) Certificate of Merit for his outstanding service. One of 12 national nominees honored, Clark has driven two million local and over the road miles in his 31 year career transporting cryogenic hazmat, concrete and aggregate deliveries.
In announcing this year’s 12 certificate of merit awardees, Jennylynne Bowman of TRALA said, “The truck renting and leasing industry is extremely fortunate to have such an amazing group of drivers who are committed to safety and excellence on the road. This group of candidates has logged over 25 million miles, which includes city and over the road driving. These nominees have already earned statewide and company recognition for their safe driving careers.
TRALA is a voluntary, non-profit national trade association founded in 1978 to serve as a unified and focused voice for the truck renting and leasing industry. TRALA’s mission is to foster a positive legislative and regulatory climate within which companies engaged in leasing and renting vehicles and trailers, as well as related businesses, can compete without discrimination in the North American marketplace. TRALA’s membership includes more than 500 leasing and rental firms and 100 suppliers.
