What was your first job with the company? Technician
Talk about your career path at Transervice? I was a technician from 1999 to 2009 and then I was promoted to shop foreman. I was promoted again in 2012 to operations manager for the Midwest.
Describe your current job responsibilities: I oversee the day-to-day operations of three shops and have three foremen reporting to me. They each have three to seven technicians in their shops.
What do you like most about your job at Transervice? The opportunities that have been offered to me. From OEM training, running the latest equipment, cutting edge software/tools, to making the jump from technician to management.
How would you describe your work environment? Busy and always learning.
What do you love best about the culture here? The “we can do that” attitude.
What attracted you to working in this industry? My dad was a truck mechanic his whole life. I looked at him, the life he made doing it, and decided I would try to do the same.
What advice would you give to someone interested in working for Transervice? Stay positive and apply yourself. Hard work does not go unnoticed.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Hobbies? Interests? I am an outdoor guy. Hunting, fishing with my kids, camping. I also like to read history and science-fiction books.
