Summary:
Come join our team! Transervice is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Logistics Design, the Analyst we seek will be a seasoned transportation professional with experience in all phases of the logistics design and analysis process!
Logistics Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Design- Perform customer data analysis
- Perform needs assessment
- Transportation and network analysis
- Engineer route and equipment utilization solution and problem resolution
Provide Price/Cost Analysis in the following areas
- Equipment
- Labor
- Management
- Maintenance
- Technology
- Other Costs (i.e. insurance/legalization)
The Logistics Analyst salary is commensurate with experience and includes a
comprehensive benefit program, including a company match 401K plan.
Job Requirements
Logistics Analyst job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in transportation & logistics or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years in transportation, logistics or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels of an organization.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word. Intermediate knowledge of database tools (MS Access) is a plus.
- Proven experience with transportation routing and optimization software (i.e. Direct Route)
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Approximate travel 10%
